Shilin Popular Science Education Base Won the Award Again and Shared Experience Among counterparts
2017 Popular Science Education Base Seminar of the Ministry of Land and Resources (MLR) was held in Hefei, Anhui Province on October 26, 2017. Seventy popular science education bases were awarded plaques on the seminar. The popular science education base of Shilin was upgraded and Ms. Huang Yali conducted knowledge transfer and shared experience at the seminar.
There are 176 popular science education bases in China, among them 32 are excellent bases, one of which is Shilin. These excellent education bases play significant roles in science popularization.
For many years, Shilin UNESCO Global Geopark have being strengthened science polarization and make the public know more about geoscience, raise their awareness of environmental protection. All these promoted the well conservation of geoheritage and local sustainable development.
