What are the restrictions UNESCO formulated to control the declaration quota of Global Geopark Network members?
In order to ensure that the Geoparks are evenly distributed in every country, each country can apply no more than 2 geoparks a year. If it is the first application of a country, which is not the member of the network yet, 3 applications will be allowed for this country.
