The "Hot Torch & Passion Stone Forest" activity series for the 2024 Torch Festival will be kicked off from July 28th to 30th, when a luxurious parade of the Guoshan Trumpet Team, Prayer Team, Ashima (Women of Yi Nationality) & Aheige (Men of Yi Nationality) Team, Flag Banner Honor Guard, Drum Dance Team, Lion Dance Team, and San Xian Team will come to the street every day singing and dancing from the ticket checkpoint to the exit of Xiaoshilin (small stone forest). The stellar performance will definitely highlight the Festival and guide you to touch the purest and the most splendid ethnic and folk culture of the zone.

Wonderful and unparalleled Torch Festival theatrical performances will also be available during the event, when the Original Performance Team of the Stone Forest Yi Nationality and the Stone Forest Art Troupe will present a series of traditional ethnic song and dance feasts at the Sun Moon Square, the Natural Dance Venue and other places, allowing viewers to be immersed in a sea of joy and the charm of the characteristic culture of Stone Forest.

For handicraft enthusiasts, the torch-making competition can definitely not to be missed, where visitors will be invited to make their own torches, experience the fun of the torch-making, and know more about the cultural heritage of the Stone Forest Torch Festival, allowing them to enjoy both fun and knowledge. When the torch-making completes, the winner can have the opportunity to light the bonfire personally. Apart from these Torch Festival event, other summer activities in the scenic area are also stunning.

On July 27th, the Transcending-Billion-Year Echo Ashima Symphony City Concert will be made available in the Stone Forest Scenic Area, where Kunming Nie Er Symphony Orchestra, along with China Hong Kong Youth Orchestra, will present a stunning music feast that perfectly fuses the symphony and the ethnic music culture.

From July 12th to October 12th, the "Oars-up Plateau & Stone Forest Water Charm" - Paddleboard Parent-Child Festival of 2024 Summer Stone Forest Scenic Area will be started in the waters of Stone Forest Lake, and paddleboarding enthusiasts nationwide will be welcome. In addition, from June 9th to August 31st, 2024, examinees nationwide for the 2024 college entrance examination can visit the Stone Forest Scenic Area free of charge after presenting both their original exam admission cards and their original ID Cards.
