On June 13, 2019, representatives from Dong Van Plateau Karst UGGp in Vietnam conducted an exchange and cooperation visit to Shilin UGGp.

The staff members of Dong Van Plateau Karst UGGp visited Shilin Visitor Center, the Major Stone Forest Scenic Area, the Minor Stone Forest Scenic Area, Bushao Hill Scenic Area respectively and knew more Shilin UGGp.

The representatives from both geoparks had an in-depth discussion on the practice and operation of geopark building, popular science education, interpretation system, geoheritage protection, networking and revalidation work, achieving a consensus on interactive communication and further cooperation.

After the visit, both geoparks signed sister park cooperation agreement, forming a friendly cooperation relationship, starting an important step of communication and cooperation of the two geoparks.
