Shilin Holds Archery Tournament Helping "Sports + Tourism" Integrated Development

On 17-18 November, 2018 Shilin Archery Tournament of Kunming city was held in the Naigu Stone Forest Scenic Area, which was organized by the Kunming Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, the People's Government of Shilin County, and hosted by the Archery Association of Yunnan Province and the Sports Federation of Kunming City, aiming to meet the needs of a higher level of sports and cultural life, and to promote the in-depth integration of the development of sports and tourism.
It is reported that the event was conducted in the Changhu Lake Scenic Area in 2016.
LI Guiping, director of the Bureau of Culture, Radio and Sports of Shilin County, said that most tourists usually stayed only one day in the Shilin County, yet they would stay here much longer due to such events, greatly promoting the development of local economic development.
