Shilin Attends 2018 Annual Conference of China UNSCO Global Geoparks

From Nov 6-8, the Annual Conference of China UNESCO Global Geoparks in 2018 was held in Yandangshan UGGp, Zhejiang Province. Shilin UGGp representatives attended the meeting.
The annual conference reviewed the main activities of UNESCO Global Geoparks in China during 2018, shared advanced experience in management, application, revalidation, protection and development of UNESCO Global Geoparks, and put forward suggestions for further building, management system, institution setting and talent cultivation of UNESCO Global Geoparks.
During the conference, representatives of Shilin UGGp conducted in-depth communication with representatives of sister parks mainly regarding the construction of geopark museum, harmonious existence between geoparks and indigenous people, strengthening of mutual exchange and revalidation issues.
