Recently, a total number of 195 teachers and students of Grade 2013 of Geography Science School of Southwest University, divided into two groups, carried out physical geography integrated internship respectively in Shilin global geopark.

In 2015 Shilin Global Geopark Administrative Bureau and Southwest University established cooperation relationship, and Shilin geopark therefore became out-school internship base. Teachers and students come to the park annually to do field investigation, teaching and research activities, and it is good opportunity for the students to experience the exceptional natural beauty and folk culture, and the great fun from tourism researching and learning.

Besides the field activities, Shilin Global Geopark Administrative Bureau especially arranged visit of karst geological museum for teachers and students.
