Recently, the study group of more than 20 people organized by Shanxi New Power International Travel Agency and Journey to the West – Beijing Western International Travel Agency Shijiazhuang Branch visited Stone Forest to take site study on tourist lines, tourism investment environment and matters concerning cooperation.
During their trip, the study group visited the scenic spots, experienced tourist lines and service supporting facilities of Stone Forest including Wanjiahuan Blueberry Manor, Cherry Blossom Valley, Xinglin Grand View Park, Stone Forest Tourist Reception Center, the Greater and Lesser Stone Forest Scenic Area, Naigu Stone Forest Scenic Area, Stone Forest Karst Museum, Changhu Scenic Area, Dadieshui Scenic Area, Nuohei Shitou Village and Number 1 Yi Village.
Based on the visit and the introduction heard, both parties had communication on better marketing of the tourism development of Stone Forest and cooperation of the next step. Standing Vice Principal Xu Yongping of Party School of CPC Shilin County Committee hopes that the study group will add new scenic spots in addition to the Greater and Lesser Stone Forest in the future tourist lines to enable the tourists to live and have dinner in Stone Forest.
According to the study group, in addition to the Greater and Lesser Stone Forest, many other scenic areas and scenic spots of Shilin County have profound accumulation of ethnic culture and the tourism of Shilin County has a good development prospect. Through the visit, they have understood the tourism of Shilin more deeply. They hope to find a connection point in terms of tourist line planning, publicity and marketing and tourism service through joint efforts of both parties to continuously launch new tourist lines and programs and to jointly develop a tourism industrial chain to attract tourists, develop cooperatively and realize win-win. They hope that in the following planning of tourist lines, new lines may be developed based on the tourism brand of Stone Forest such as Sani Folklores and Folkways Experience Traveling of Stone Forest and Karst Science Popularization Traveling.
