Grand entertainment performance was held in Shilin Nationality Sports Ground on the evening of Aug 11. Famous Chinese stars such as Wang Feng, Wang Xinling, Duan Linxi, Geng Lianfeng and 0086 Group appeared on the performance and their songs are well recognized. Local people and some visitors are all delighted with the songs.

Geng Fenglian sang the song “on the beautiful golden mountain”. It is a song about the history of Chinese Red Army soldiers. Taiwang famous star Wang Xinling sang the song “smiling of rainbow” and ‘”moonlight”. More than 10 million Wang’s discs have been sold in Asia.

Yunnan star sang the song “ashima (maning beautiful maiden in Yi language)” which simulated Yi people’s love to Shilin. Duan Linxin sang the song “enthusiasm desert” in the atmosphere of cheerfulness.

When Rock and Roll star Wang Feng appeared, the audience broke into cheers. His sang the two songs “blooming life” and “brightness”. Wang Feng’ music is typical and about the puzzle between ideals and reality. His song such as “flying higher”, “blooming life”, “spring” and “youth once more” are popular among people.

Net singer Tang Lei, Wang Lin and Zhang Bo and many other popular singers appeared on the performance. The entertainment performance was hosted by Lu Yajuan and Liu Dongdong from CCTV.

After the program, top leaders and officials of Shilin County lighted the torch and tens of thousands of people joined the torch carnival.
